• TheCodeDiff has no accounts and does not collect analytics or usage data.
• The app connects to the internet for git operations, AI reviews you start, updates, and licensing.
• Below is what we keep and why.

What the app sends, and when

• Git operations. Fetch, pull, and push go to the remotes you configured.
• AI reviews. Reviews you start are sent to the AI provider you configured, using your own API key, under that provider's privacy terms.
• Updates and licensing. The app checks our servers for updates and license validity.

What stays on your machine

Your settings, your repositories, and your review history stay local. AI provider keys are stored in your operating system's secure keychain, and your license is stored locally and verified locally.

Purchases

Payments are handled by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, LLC, which processes your payment details under its own privacy policy. We keep the name and email from your purchase to issue your license and support you.
